OUGD503 FEVER TREE - POSTER DEVELOPMENT & FINAL DESIGNS

Following on from feedback, it was suggested that the posters needed work doing to them as they looked rather naff.

Taking the colours from the pattern of the bottle a striped effect was created, making the bottle look more dynamic. However this pattern doesn't combine well with the bottle itself, they are two completely contrasting styles which clash.

A more type based design was created, using an elegant serif typeface, which creates a more sophisticated appearance. This also gives a way to promote how Fever Tree are helping the fight against Malaria, which these bottles are contributing towards.

Thought the text could be too dark black, so changed it to dark green instead, taking the shade from the pattern on the bottle.

Applied to a different bottle pattern, using dark pink text.

China bottle pattern using dark red text.

India bottle pattern using a dark brown shade for the text, again taken from the bottle pattern itself.
What's great about the above 4 posters, is that they can be easily produced for each bottle pattern, simply by replacing the bottle and changing the text colour.

The above poster designs, although look sleek and clear, they could be a little too minimal, and perhaps the pattern could be emphasised more, hence the below poster designs.

Bottle pattern is spread across the whole poster, to look as if it extends out from the bottle itself. Perhaps the bottle gets lost now though.

Tried the poster design but without the bottle, however then you don't really know what the product is.
Final posters:

Bottle is back in there, but with the background pattern on a reduced opacity level, to ensure the bottle stands out, but the pattern can still be seen.

Applied to Indonesia pattern. The opacity on the background pattern had to be adjusted for each pattern, as a darker pattern such as this has to have a lower opacity than a lighter coloured pattern.

Bangladesh pattern.

China pattern.

These posters show off the pattern in the best way, showing it as an extension of the bottles pattern. They also show what buying the bottles will do for the fight against Malaria, which isn't clear from the pattern themselves.
