OUGD503 COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE - FEEL GOOD DRINKS GROUP MEETING

We met as a group to discuss any initial ideas we had for this brief, and to discuss what directions we're going in and what the next steps for each of us will be, so we are progressing nicely with this brief.

- We like patterns and floral things.
- Potentially a different pattern for each different flavours and types of drink.
- Think about the application on a billboard.
- 2 or 3 three key colours with one personal colour for each flavour.
- Contrasting/complimentary colour to the actual colour of the drink due to clear wrap.
- A fact about the fruits they're drinking (fun fact) on the back of the label.
- Sophisticated, feminine but still fun - in the key colour/writing on the back.
- Bottle wrap design - posters, billboards.
- Social media campaign - key phrase, to spread the message and involve everyone.
- Animated GIF?
- Neck tag, to make it look more special and high quality.
- Non alcoholic cocktail recipe on the back? Uses for the drink besides drinking it.
- Possible paint the pattern onto the bottles.
- Sparkling fruit juice, still and sparkling fruit juice, still fruit juice. Different theme for each type category, produce one design for each category.
- Look at Feel Good Drinks in the environment it's sold within.
- Designs based on UK countryside, gardens, flowers, instead of tropical.
- Concentrate more on social media (only been active on Facebook since 2014)
- Research into competitions of similar products.
- Do a charity campaign - looking after the farmers/growers of the fruit.
- Leave out the middle man - go straight to the farms - know where the fruit has come from.

Next Steps:
I will research into Vitamin Water and it's advertising and how it appears in shops, then compare this to Feel Good Drinks. I will also start doing some initial pattern sketches for one flavour of the still juice drinks, ready to compare pattern designs with the rest of my group when we next meet up.
